Many years ago, I think it was around the year 2000, our company Japan Luggage Express was introduced in the Japan Times, a major newspaper in Japan.
In those days, there were almost no international shipping company who were willing to handle small shipments of individuals. I am sure if they had paid a lot of money, they would have handled such shipments but since these moving     companies handled mostly shipments of companypaid moves, the charges were very expensive.  When we started this business, a proffessor of a university in Tokyo told us that they were happy to find a company like ours but when she moved internationally for the first time, she was really surprised to see the bill for which her employer paid for her.
